Somber Jake Reiner spotted on beach walk with girlfriend following parents Rob and Michele’s tragic murders

Jake Reiner was photographed walking on the beach with his girlfriend, Maria Gilfillan, after the tragic deaths of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner.

The couple was also accompanied by Alex Silberberg, the boyfriend of Jake’s sister, Romy, as they walked along the sand in Malibu, Calif., on Sunday.

The threesome appeared to have stepped out of the beach house Romy and Silerberg have reportedly been staying at since the grisly murders earlier this month for some fresh air.

Jake and Romy have been keeping a low profile since the latter discovered their parents’ bodies at their Brentwood, Calif., home on Dec. 14. Rob was 78, and Michele was 70.

Insiders told The Post at the time that Romy went to check on them after they didn’t answer the door for their message therapist.

Their cause of death was ruled a homicide as they were found with several stab wounds, including to the neck.

Additionally, their death certificates revealed they died within “minutes” of sustaining “multiple sharp force injuries.”

Per the Post, the couple’s other son, Nick, was being eyed as a person of interest.

The 32-year-old — who has a history of violence and substance abuse — was then arrested on the night of Dec. 14.

He was also reportedly diagnosed with schizophrenia ahead of the killings.

Insiders told TMZ that Nick was seeing a psychiatrist, noting that his behavior was “alarming,” especially after doctors changed his medication around November.

The filmmaker is sitting behind bars at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.

He will be arraigned on Jan. 7 and is reportedly planning to plead not guilty by reason of insanity to two charges for first-degree murder.

Since then, Romy has been pictured at the beach house with loved ones as they celebrated her 28th birthday on Saturday, per photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

As for Jake, the 34-year-old broke cover on Dec. 23 when he stepped out for coffee with his girlfriend. The duo was also seen shopping over the weekend.
