Rob Reiner’s daughter Romy shared heartbreaking final photos of dad before his death
Romy Reiner shared photos of her famous dad, Rob Reiner, two weeks before her parents’ devastating deaths.
On Nov. 29, the 28-year-old shared an eight-slide Instagram post with footage of her floating in the ocean.
Romy, dressed in a red bikini, snapped two selfies of herself and Rob, who smiled at the camera while wearing a black hat and black bathing suit.

Romy did not caption the post, which was set to Sade’s 1992 song “Mermaid.”
After news broke Sunday that Romy’s dad and mom Michele were stabbed to death at their Los Angeles home, the post’s comment section was flooded with messages about the tragedy.
“This is beautiful. And to be with your dad that from what I see you had a fabulous relationship with. I am so sorry for your loss,” one fan wrote.
“So sorry for you and your family,” someone else wrote.

Another fan added, “I, like everyone else on your comments, am so so sorry on the loss of your mom and dad. Your dad brought a lot of laughter and thought to people around the world and I’m sure they both meant the world to you. Thinking of you, your sister and brother Jake at this time.”
“It feels like the whole country is grieving and sending you and your family love. Myself included. And so sincerely sorry for your loss my heart aches for you all,” another person wrote.
Romy is Rob and Michele’s youngest child. The late couple also had sons Nick and Jake, and Rob was the adoptive father of actress Tracy Reiner, whom he had with his first wife, director Penny Marshall.

At around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Romy discovered her parents with their throats slashed inside their home in Brentwood, California.
Romy told cops that she believed a family member “should be a suspect” and that the relative was “dangerous,” according to TMZ.
Her brother Nick was taken into custody Sunday night and has been charged with murdering his parents.
The 32-year-old, who spent years in and out of rehab for drug addiction, is being held on $4 million bail.

According to TMZ, Rob and Michele got into a “very loud argument” with Nick at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party the night before their murders.
In 2016, Nick told People he first went to rehab at age 15 and ended up doing at least 17 stints in treatment.
When he refused to return to rehab, he ended up homeless.
“I spent nights on the street. I spent weeks on the street. It was not fun,” he shared.
